We’re an Arizona based husband and wife photography and videography duo - it’s wonderful to meet you!
The idea for the Susnjara’s Photo + Film started back before we even realized it was happening!
In December of 2017, Amy gifted Marko his first camera because after a year of dating, she noticed that he couldn’t let a single moment go by without capturing a photo on his phone. Also during this time, Amy and Marko were balling on that college student budget, so with every birthday, Marko would create a beautiful video montage for Amy as gifts. As time went on, it was increasingly obvious that Marko had a passion for stories and moments and was naturally talented at the re-telling of their love story. Marko had a gift.
Marko loved his camera, and started to notice that any time Amy snagged a photo on his camera, well, it was better. Much better. From photos on her phone to the nicer ones on his DSLR camera, it was clear: Amy had a gift.
Amy and Marko experienced a tumultuous time in 2020 after Amy lost her job due to COVID, which ended up being a big blessing in disguise. In May of 2020, Marko returned the favor from 2017 and bought Amy her first DSLR, a Canon Rebel T7, one she had mentioned time and time again as the camera she had her eye on for a VERY long time. And the rest was history!
After finding an incredible photography mentor, Amy focused intently on growing her skills, and in 2021, Marko joined the wedding business world as a wedding videographer, yearning to fulfill his itch to capture and tell the stories of couples who are wildly in love!imagery to capture emotions, preserve moments, and narrate stories that transcend time.

Hey there!
My name is Amy and I am blessed to be the primary photographer for our wedding photography and videography business! I like to think that I’m a pretty fun vendor, aka, you’ll probably see me dancing on the dance floor whenever possible.
A few fun facts about me:
I am a Christ follower, and that’s probably the most important thing about me.
I worked at Disneyland for 6+ years! Although I wouldn’t say I’m a “Disney adult,” I’ll always cherish that time in my life. 🐭 🏰 🪄
The Office is my favorite TV show ever and I can quote the first 7 seasons almost word for word ✏️
Honey lavender lattes are the key to my heart 🍯☕️
I’ve never broken a bone, EVER 👏
I’m currently working on getting my Masters of Science in Leadership, I’ll be done in March 2025! (ahhh!) 🏫
I work full-time in social media at a pretty cool place 😎
I grew up in Southern CA, (Whittier peeps whats upppppp!?), and moved to AZ in 2014 to pursue my bachelors at GCU. The plan wasn’t to stay in AZ, but after I met this really cute guy those plans quickly changed (God is funny like that sometimes) ☺️
I started our wedding photography and videography business during the pandemic 😷
My goal when servicing my clients is to ensure they feel loved, heard, important, and cared for. Not just because they literally deserve that on their big day, but also because the big guy upstairs says so 😉

My name is Marko Susnjara and I am honored to be the primary videographer for our wedding business!
A few fun facts about me:
I am a follower of Jesus and am currently employed as a Youth Director at a local church when I’m not doing videography.
I’m 100% Croatian!
My go-to coffee order really depends on where I’m at, but I love a classic cold brew, americano, drip, or pour-over with vanilla and half-and-half.
I played soccer basically my whole life! I actually was planning to go to college for it, but God ultimately lead me to ministry.
I am one of four kids!
I love hiking, being outdoors, reading, and playing video games in my spare time with friends /family and my wife (cause she’s awesome and will play with me haha).
OUR STORY
Ultimately, we feel called to to this profession and to each other.
We are deeply passionate about our love for the Lord and the sacred covenant of marriage. We believe that marriage is a beautiful reflection of God’s love and faithfulness, and we strive to capture that divine connection in every frame. Our photography and videography are inspired by this belief, with the hope that each moment we capture speaks to the joy, commitment, and love that are at the heart of every marriage. Also, we just realllllly love being married. It’s kinda the best. :)
We met at GCU in the spring of 2015 at a marketing photoshoot ironically. At the time, we didn’t think much of it. Outside of a game of ninja, (which 1 [Amy] beat Marko in), neither of us really noted that day as something significant. After that meeting, we actually didn’t see each other for over a year!"
I left for an internship in California, and didn’t return to GCU until fall 2016. After returning, we reconnected at a camping trip after I was randomly invited by someone in my class.
The rest was basically history, and we officially started dating in January of 2017 after dating for 2 months. Fun fact, I accidentally let it slipped that I loved Marko like, 5 times before we officially said it to each other.
Marko proposed to me on April 12, 2018 at the Grand Canyon (a spot that is extremely significant to us), and we were married at the Gathering Place on April 13th, 2019 - exactly one year later!
We’ll be celebrating 6 years in 2025, and are just so stinkin’ excited for all that is to come!
